The East Islip School District ran its annual Summer Innovation and Enrichment Academy for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, held during two one-week sessions in July and August at East Islip Middle School.

The East Islip Youth Lacrosse League donated 100 lacrosse sticks for East Islip’s four elementary schools's PE programs.

Prior to the end of the school year, eight fifth graders at John F. Kennedy Elementary School completed their Bronze Award for Girl Scouts.
