Clubs

STEAM Club                 Advisor: Mrs. Ting-Brodsky / Mrs. Meehan 

Meeting: 8:30 am, Tuesday and Friday, September through December 

The STEAM club is a place for students who like to solve problems though hands-on activities, think creatively and work as a team. It is open to students in grades 4 and 5.  

 

JFK Student Council                 Advisors: Heather Sini

Meeting: The grade level groups meet at least once a month. 

Fourth and Fifth grade student representatives work on school wide projects which help to improve the school and local community. 

 

Drama Club                  Advisors: Aimee Roszkowski and Kaitlyn Kasin 

Meeting: Drama club speakers start rehearsal in October and stage crew members come in January. The monthly schedule will be provided in advance to all students. Drama club ends after the play on 2/9/24.

The Drama Club puts on one play per year. Members are casted after an audition process. Members who do not want a speaking role can attend drama club as a stage crew member for behind the scenes help.

 

LEGO Club                 Advisors: Mr. Frank

Meeting: 8:15 - 8:55 am Monday / Thursday

Lego Club is for 3rd graders who like to build and create with Legos. Students will be grouped in sessions where there is a weekly build challenge. Student creations will be displayed weekly in the library.

 

LEGO League                 Advisors: Mr. Frank / Mrs. Ting-Brodsky

Meeting: Thursday and some Mondays 3:15- 3:45 pm 

4th grade students with an interest in robotics. A little bit of STEM, building, imagination and teamwork. Space is limited.
